Much like a wargame convention I attend the American Concrete Institute meeting semi annually.  here is a photo-montage of what is needed - name badge, phone, not so smart phone, power supply, aspirin, business cards, pencil program and hotel key.

Lots of photos pending....

We ran our Chippewa game at Little Wars last week.  Here are some photographs from the Friday Game.

As usual we played Carnage and Glory.  Here the computer operator is pondering the insanity of the players.  The British had a minor victory in this game.

The battlefield at about turn 3, from behind the British lines.  The battle was a stand up fight, with the Niagara River on one flank and the Unbroken Wilderness on the other side.

Here is the Pennsylvania Militia heading into the woods to flank the British line

Of course the Canadians were awaiting them.  In the words of the Arrogant Worms
 "Hillbillies from Kentucky
Dressed in Green and Red
Came to invade Canada
But they returned home dead"

The Indians stopped them cold.  It was a shootout for about 7 turns.  Neither side went anywhere.

I will post more photos shortly.

Working on Casualties for the war of 1812.  Left is a Perry Brit now made into a yank with a victrix head.  Middle is a Perry Frenchman with a new pack and a Doodle Shako.  Right is a new figure I am working up.

1812 +200 approaches

We have been methodically pulling together troops for the Rusian Campaign in 1812 as well as the ill informed invasion of Canada by Cousin Johnathan. I have almost finished 4th Corps and Jack is doing Gaurd. I am in Canada this week but photos will follow.
